All purchases are final. No cash refunds.
In case of timely cancellation of an appointment (see below), you will be able to reschedule your lesson via our online calendar.
Rescheduling and cancellation Policy
Private Lessons, Workshops, and Vocal Gym:
Students can reschedule a class up to 24 hours before the appointment time begins without any penalties.
Please cancel via our online scheduling calendar. We recommend creating an account when you book your first lesson, but if you didn't create an account you can still reschedule appointment by clicking the "reschedule" button in your confirmation email for that class.
There is no option to reschedule or refund a class when a student asks to reschedule later than 24 hours in advance.
The class fee will be forfeited if a student can't make it and notifies us at shorter notice.
Traffic, illness, and bad weather cause no exceptions - please consider all your risk factors before booking!
Students always have the right to send a substitute (friend, family member,...) to the class they can't make it.
Multi-session group courses:
Students can cancel a multi-session group class participation up to 3 days before the FIRST session of the course.
The amount paid will be refunded in store credit for use of future group classes. The class credit may also be used for private classes at KVS if the purchase was made through our own website and not through partner websites.
No store credit or other refunds after the classes have started.
Enforcing cancellation rules is absolutely necessary for us: If you hold a slot reserved until same-day:
1.) we carry real cost of paying for the teacher's time an our studio, whether you show up or not, &
2.) we didn't have the chance to offer the spot to another student.
